Mindful Mealtimes Parenting Workshop
Overview
Mindful Mealtimes is a workshop for parents of children who eat a restricted diet and are known to specialist Enfield paediatric community therapy services (e.g. Speech & Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Paediatrics, Dietetics, Child Development Team Psychology).
The workshop is delivered as part of the multi-disciplinary pathway and covers:-
Session 1: Understanding feeding difficulties – diet and food groups (Dietetics & Clinical Psychology).
Session 2: about eating and behaviour (Occupational Therapy and Child Development Psychology).
Session 3: Building communication, strategies a& language to manage feeding behaviours (Speech & Language Therapy & Child Development Team Psychology).

3 workshop sessions, 2 hours each.Delivery
OnlineWho Is It For?
- Parents/carers of children aged 2 – 10 years; and
- Child must be known to one of the specialist Enfield community services (e.g. Speech & Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Paediatrics, Dietetics, Child Development Team Psychology); and
The team is currently unable to offer Interpreters for the group. Clinicians are encouraged to consider alternative methods of support if parent/carers require an interpreter.
