“Parents In MIND” Parents/Carers Support Group
Overview
An online 8-week support group for parents and carers of adolescents (11-16) who are waiting for CAMHS support for anxiety, low mood, depression, self-harm and suicidal ideation, ASD and ADHD.
Parents in Mind online group is a safe and confidential space for parents/carers to gain information and skills to support their young person as well as receive peer support from other parents/carers.
The programme is aimed to provide broad strategies for supporting adolescents’ mental health and parents’ resilience.
Part of this programme will be educational, while the other parts will be practical strategies and facilitated peer support from other parents/carers facing similar challenges.

This course is for Parent/Carers whose adolescents (11-16) are known and open to CAMHS with the main presenting concerns of:
- anxiety,
- depression,
- self-harm,
- and/or suicidality,
Does NOT include PTSD, an eating disorder, significant learning disability.
How to Book
Referrals are welcome from North Central London CAMHS services (Tier 2&3).
