SFSC Stronger Relationships (Online)

Overview

Would you like to reduce the arguments and disagreements in your family and cope better with stress?

Would you like to enhance your relationship with your current partner, or improve communication with your ex or the other people helping to raise your children?
How about learning at a time that suits you with support from an accredited Facilitator?

SFSC Stronger Relationships online course provides parents and adult main carers with the key ideas and skills to reduce the effects harmful conflict which is ‘frequent, intense and poorly resolved’ have on children.  Discussions will include:

  • What harmful conflict is and how it affects children’s wellbeing and development;
  • Tools to reflect upon personal values, vulnerabilities and strengths and identify areas of conflict with their co-parent;
  • Practises to improve adult relationships and communication for co-parents and carers living together or apart;
  • Skills to manage stress & anger and resolve conflict positively;
  • Information for co-parents living apart to work towards a parenting agreement;
  • Techniques to improve the parent child relationship for parents whose children do not live;
