Successful Start to Secondary School

Overview
‘Successful Start to Secondary’ is an information sharing day aimed at parents and carers of children due to start Year 7 who have been identified by their school or parent/carers as potentially needing an enhanced transition support offer (needing additional support).
As a multiagency team, Enfield Communication Advisory Support Service (ECASS) is hosting a transition programme in collaboration with the SEND Partnership to support parents and carers via an in-person information sharing day.
At the end of the transition programme, parents and carers will be invited to attend the Elklan ‘Let’s Talk for 11-14s’ programme for further guidance and learning, which will be held after their child has started at Secondary school.
